    Glastron bow fuel tank

Does it have a water separator? If yes, and it is not full, it is very difficult to get it filled via the primer bulb. Remove it and fill it with fuel and install it. The fuel lines should easily fill with fuel. If not, something i clogged, likely the antisiphon valve, if you even have one.

    74 mercury 850

Triggers in those distributors are replaceable. You must replace the whole housing. CDI electronics makes them, I believe. Ditto on the rotors.

    1976 MERC 650

Choke solenoids are 5A or so. Starter solenoids are about the same. Starters can be 150-200A or even more. Starter cables are never fused.

    1976 MERC 650

There was no fuse on the battery on motors of that era. Check the insulation on the engine harness and boat harness. If that is not it, you will need to open up the MerControl and see if any wires are touching and rubbed raw.

Air leak in fuel pump? Evinrude '94 E150EXERV

That motor has a fuel pump and a vapor pump. I would check/rebuild the vapor pump. It is located on top of the vapor separator. Also, check the main gasoline strainer. It should have an oring and gasket to seal it. She will suck air from there if those are not working.

    Old Airguide "Sea Speed Tachometer.

How many wires on the tach? Those oldies used the switchbox (brown terminal with mercury switch) to power them, with 2 wires. I suspect, that even if you have such a terminal on your 4 cylinder (depends on the year, likely motor needs to be older than 1975), you will only get 2/3 of the...

1/4" crown staples for bunk carpeting?

Gee, I would think that 2 1/4" staples with their four legs will have more holding power than 1 1/2 staple with its two legs. Also, aren't you stapling on the back side of the bunk? The pull from there will be sideways. Again the two staples will hold better.

    Isn't steady beep an overheat?

    Winterize

Easy stuff. Stabilize fuel. Run motor on flusher for a few minutes. fog all 6 carbs until you see some smoke and turn engine off. Let water drain. Change gear oil and use new gaskets. Spray powerhead with anti corrosion stuff. Clean and grease steering rod and motor zerks. Install hood...

    1976 MERC 650

Merc's of that age didn't have fuses. It begs the question of what else was changed. Original wiring engine harnesses of that age usually have failing insulation by now. The most likely place for a wire to rub raw and short is inside the MerControl. You might start there.

1/4" crown staples for bunk carpeting?

Gee, put two in line with each other just touching. Stainless is fine.

U-Joint Bellows replacement on Alpha 1 gen 1

I followed the service manual exactly and had no luck with that job. I ended up pushing the bellows onto the transom plate with a dull tire iron. Make sure the clamps go on exactly where they were originally.

    Water stains

There is a product called Marykate on and off. It is two kinds of acid and alcohol. Use gloves and a rag.

It must be sanded with fine paper. Then prime and paint as the paint recommends.

1982 mercury throttle controls aren’t fully working

If you have a standard MerControl, the shift should begin as you leave neutral. Neutral is at the midnight position. The throttle should start to advance when you reach about the 10' o'clock position. Full throttle is at 8:30 or thereabouts.

    93 Johson 150hp fuel issue

Items 4 and 9 are the screws for the cover over the idle jets and needle. They do not show the cover or gasket for some reason.

    Overheating issue.

Thermostats do fail. However, if one manifold is warmer than the other, I would expect that one to be clogged. Did you ever figure out how old the manifolds and risers are? If original and used exclusively in freshwater, that can be near or at the end of their life. If saltwater, they last 8...

    Evinrude '94 150hp E150EXERV overheating

30PSI at 4000RPM is good, however, you have already fixed the other obvious parts of the cooling system. I would replace the impeller, gaskets, and housing and see if it gets better. If overheat still persists, you will need to look for other causes like clogged water passages, compression...

    93 Johson 150hp fuel issue

Yes, you would need to adjust them. However, on that motor, there should be a cover over the idle needle. You can remove the cover, clean the idle needle and passages and then install the cover, without removing the needles.

‘75 or ‘76 Mercury 650 three banger spark issue

I do not know the answer to your question. Since the coil is arcing to ground, which should be a higher resistance than thru the distributor and wires, I thought it logical to try. One side of the coil is grounded. Is that ground clean and tight? Any chance the distributor is out of time...
