    I will say again, one six weeks in the rain over the life of the boat does not cause problems. Long term exposure does. Ive owned over 20 old boats over the years and trailers can take way more abuse than a boat. Have you repacked your bearings? Nothing like losing a wheel at 70 mph...

    Zero concern with lying it down for towing. The forces of that is 1% of the forces that being on the water with it has on it.
