    are you sure the charge coil you put in was the correct one? it did not have the correct wiring. did the charge coil match the old one you pulled out and did fit properly? did you set the meter on DC when taking the peak readings? did you spin the motor over fast enough to get a good reading...

    just because yds says it wants all cylinders to fire does not mean they are. you need to see if all are getting spark and fuel some how. spark should be easy, with a timing light or spark tester not sure how to ckeck fuel maybe monitor the injector pulsing

    never use an anti-seize that contains copper on aluminum. follow the recommendations in the Yamaha service manual for all of the procedures

    look up how many amps your motors charging system will put out, it will not put out any more than that, and I would not think a small motor would put out very much, but I do not know how much. make sure you use a charger to get the battery back up to full charge before heading back out again...

    what is the sensor coil under the coil? If you have monitored oil and temp and other things and they did not show a problem when this happens, I would not think they are the problem. I would think you are loosing spark or fuel to some cylinders or maybe both. need to find a way to monitor...

    service manual should have the specs for the input and out put of the CDI. but you will need the proper peak reading meter made for these ignition systems. or you can buy an adapter and use you regular meter
