    Generally, its not on the side with the steering wheel (so you can see straight ahead).

    check the neutral safety switch. if the EDM thinks the motor is in neutral, the RPM wont go above a certain RPM check fuel pressure. if you are TBI or MPI, there are different pressures.

    Wiring diagram never existed. Look for the generic information in the electrical forum. The wiring colors are an ABYC standard. And the wiring specific to the motor in the motor manual

    I would go with pop-up cleats vs folding. the small folding ones are generally for hanging fenders where the pop-up cleats are load rated.

    and the jack plate pushes the motor aft about 4-5" so that really squats the boat. I would stick with a short shaft on the boat.

    You were told wrong It didn't show more than 100 because there is no water in the block With cooling water, your exhaust temp is 200f Without cooling water, the exhaust temp is 1100f
