    Your looking in the wrong area for the buzzer/alarm Note: All purple wires are powered up by the key being turned ON. Doesn't matter where they go they all are powered by the key The Tan/Blue wire is what goes to all switches to sound the horn by the switch grounding

    Have not measured and may not be 18, more like 12 to 14. Manual shows 12 inch minimum. With 200ft of rode I could cut off 50 ft, but going from all chain (previous boat) to mix I may need more slope Rode is slipping on clutch, its turning but some times rode isn't moving and I misspoke...

    Brass tube on top is the way to go with some good sealant like 3M 4000 The drain plug needs to be sealed with good resin so if some water is present its not against bare wood

    Get a bore scope camera for your phone. Then with boat in water use it to look around in those areas hard to see. Should be easy to find with that much water. It might be the transom is soft and will need replacing...

    The buzzer (Alarm) sounds when a sensor switch grounds. In your case it should during overheat or low oil tank The buzzer needs 12V power to one side which is powered up when the key is turned to ON (run). The other side of the buzzer goes to each of the sensor switches

    The pigtail has 2 wires coming from the ALT. One wire goes to the Red/Purple which is the sense lead (50 amp breaker) Other wire goes to purple which is excite (key switch turns ON) I'm unable to find a wiring diagram for the exact ALT and it may not matter which lead goes to which but they...

    Don't understand but ok The coil is fully enclosed inside the cylinder and covered in hydraulic oil. The original top cap is removed and replaced with new cap (sealed same as before)
