    Will it go up if the trailer button is pressed? If not, look for the Blue/White wire on the relays. Need 12V on the Blu/Wht wires when up is pressed. Can swap the relays to see if the problem moves to down If it does go up with trailer button, then its the limit switch on the drive

    Most likely the piston seal inside the cylinder is leaking slightly. Replace the internal seal and it will be fine. Don't know about the noise, but check for something binding, U joints need grease (but if they were dry there should be vibrations)
