    Depends on the boat. The intake pump is accessible from the bilge. Most of the other plumbing may require pulling the livewells I haven't had to pull a deck to replumb yet

    did you do any troubleshooting prior to throwing money at parts? 5 minutes with a jumper wire and DVM would have indicated what is wrong with the original. most likely the ground buss at the helm has corrosion

    Did you simply toss it in the water vs doing all the maintenance the prior owner didn't do? Did you find all the missing bits of the old impeller? Did you back flush? Also, what motor/drive?

    bonding wires should be green. the tank should have bonding wires to the hull, the motor, etc should have bonding wires.

    if you have a steel tank, its almost 50 years old or older I would not use any POR-15 product since they changed their formulations. If you want to keep the original tank, take the tank to your local radiator shop, they have some great tank liner. or get aluminum or poly.
