    yes, chemicals in pressure treated lumber will dissolve aluminum by electrolysis. ACX or BCX plywood is fine if you dont want to add much weight, flotation foam and PVC foam board works to. you will need to use 4# foam vs 2# would keep any brackets aluminum

    Just buy new seals. Takes less than an hour to reseal and the cylinders stay on the boat during the process There are no O-rings in the cylinders. There are specific seals. Five-star marine has the kit. Look in the link in my sig for rebuilding (last April)
