    if its a tuliped valve you only need a valve job and a new valve. not a new block find a different mechanic however if you do not get that motor running ASAMFP after ingesting water, especially salt water, then you will need a new block AND heads since your motor has now had salt water in it...

    Standard breather cap without nipple Option ,#1, get cap with nipple and plumb to spark arrestor Option #2, clean the steel wool in the cap every 50 hours. Add extra course steel wool as needed

    I agree with above. Build a stroker with a SCAT crank and rods, rortec heads, and LCQ style pistons and have it ready to swap when your motor gets a bit more worn Surprised at your low compression numbers with such low hours. Would suggest a leak down test

    I would check the shavings, if good, fill the existing holes with epoxy and wax the screws and install, then go boating Or index the base If you want washers and nuts, there is most likely foam you would have to contend with

I am toying with pulling my H-pipe cross-over and modifying it for an AFR meter unless I can find a thread in small diameter Wide-Band O2 sensor where I can drill in-situ...... as I am currently trimming my AFR by tweaking the air bleeds and the emulsion bleeds on...
