Mercrusier 350 MAG MPI - RPM issue under a load

Your original motor was most likely a 6.2 (and yes the block will be a 5.7 block) The 6.2 ECM will dump more fuel

Almost Sunk… where do I start to salvage boat

Get the motor started and running ASAP You need to figure out where the water was coming in from

That is up to you. Best power adder is to run the motor as is, enjoy the boat and then build a 383 and go that route I wouldn't waste spending $2500 on a cam, heads, intake, and carb for the ford motor to get 240hp when you can spend $3500 on a 383 and get 330-350hp

    IAC problems

Old IAC could have been totally open. New IAC could have been partially open. There are 4 wires 2 are hi, 2 are low (ground ref) IAC should move to close with key on and engine is over 100F

Cause for new exhaust bellows failure?

If there is any blockage on the side that blew. There would not. E enough cooling water and the exhaust goes from 220F to 900F

    Carburetor Issues, Dripping Carbs...

Mercarb or Webber or Rochester? Electric or mechanical pump? What is fuel pressure? If Rochester the welsh plugs could be leaking If fuel pressure is too high, it will force seat open

    STUCK 6.2L MPI

Idiots post on facetube all the time. A 4-foot cheater will strip the threads from the crank rendering it junk. If a motor is stuck from rust, it will smoke if they get it running Always use a crank socket to turn a motor from the crank snout

    IAC problems

Remember one of the wires is a ground The factory manual tells you what you should read on every line
