Mercrusier 5.7 no power to injectors!

ok then the ECM is not turning the injectors ON When cranking do you see the tach show at least 300 rpm or maybe it doesn't move at all See if you can find the serial number. Look above the starter for a plate on the block. What year? If no plate, which ECM do you have

Mercrusier 5.7 no power to injectors!

The fuel pump has nothing to do with the injectors. I wanted to know if there was 12V when the key is turned ON, with one of the wires on the injectors. One of them (pink or red) will have 12V when ever key is ON. Th other side of the injector goes to the ECM and the ECM applies a ground to...

    1989 Chrysler Conqueror

That's a nice looking one, should be a Conqueror 115 and have a 115hp motor on it. I have a Conqueror 105 which is a bit smaller If everything works and hull is not rotted out (mine was) it could be worth the 2K easy Had to replace the transom and stringers on mine, and maybe this year I'll...

    Cutting cable TV

Just noticed a write up about locast which is note worthy. Says signing up is easy but stopping is an issue. There is no contact info link to stop, only a forum area which can be discussed. So once they have your CC info, stopping them may require cancelling the card I'm still thinking about...

    Hydrolocked in the parkinglot

One end has a double lip (bell housing end) the other side doesn't (transom end) But you might be right with not the right bellows

    Snow Chain Alternative

The only ones I found which will do that for longer periods are Radial Chains. It has steel bands wrapped around the cable, so they roll for less wear https://www.peerlesschain.com/brands/traction-product-choices/radial-chain/ There is also the emergency stap chains which are easier to put...

    Hydrolocked in the parkinglot

I think you have the drive shaft bellows on backwards. Could also be the reason when tightening the clamp that it kept sliding off

Replace or Repair, where to start?

It shouldn't be hard to turn but new seals does make it a bit harder. Rotate the shift foot to a point where the prop locks in the counter-clockwise direction. When the prop locks the shift foot should be facing straight forward. Once there, the lower can be put together with the upper

1972 L6 remote controls need wiring repair

I would slop some lithium grease where ever it moves/slides. Won't hunt to go overboard, but just the same I wouldn't go overboard. So far as the friction point, I don't know if it has one. It should stay easy enough because carbs don't have return springs

Charging voltage drop with diode isolator

Probably didn't come that way because it had the relay box on top the motor. The box stopped working or didn't work very well, and then the isolator was installed

    2nd wiped Camshaft OMC 460

My thought is the one lifter is not getting enough oil. Oil drips off the lifter to the lobe. Did you deep clean the block?

Do these annodes look like they need to be replaced?

^^ Don't agree Thread locker should not be used because, anodes need to make electrical contact to work (even though not needed in this case), and screws have been know to break off with even a small amount of corrosion build up (don't need to possibly make it worst)
