    I can not see or hear your motor.-----But the motor speeding up tells me it is running out of fuel.-----In my opinion this is an easy fix.-----Could also be a bad reed valve causing low crankcase compression.-----The + crankcase PRESSURE pulse drives the fuel pump.

    When the carburetor bowl is near empty an outboard will rev up.----Test run with another hose and tank.-----Some cheap plastic tanks have issues with pick up tube inside the tank.

    Towing down the street to the launch or a 100 miles at highway speeds ?-----How steep is the launch ramp ?

    I believe it is running out of fuel.----So check your fuel line o-rings in the fittings.-----Step #1 in trouble shooting is always the same.----Post your compression test numbers.----

    Those may have used that separate tank ----AKA ---Autoblend----And that unit should be thrown away as far as you can.-----The inline 6 was marketed as a 90 for quite a few years !!

    Correct many bearings on outboards have loose rollers.-----I assemble them with needle bearing assembly grease.

    There is a small diameter oil recirculation line that goes from the bottom of the block to near the top bearing.

    The clutch dog is spring loaded and yes as it moves to reverse you have to put more effort into compressing the spring.-----And the propshaft must be turned when you shift to reverse !

    It appears ( by paint colors / markings ) that the axle is not original to the trailer.-----You might want to look into a bigger axle/ wheels / tires.

    In a test bucket the water must be 6" to 8" above the impeller.------Hard for those simple pumps used from 1974 to 2007 not the work.----They are that good and reliable !
