    Depends on your location for the paperwork.------But a boat like that is easy to repair / restore.-----You could even make it better and stronger than it was new.-----But it won't be cheap.------Depends on what you want !

    Put throttle control in idle position.----You pull the bottom rod UP.------You put the top shift rod all the way DOWN.-----This gives you room to work.----It goes together and it should all be lined up and working as before.----Done this many times !!---Bottom shift rod turned all the way in...

    You assembled it correctly.-----And when you put the lower unit in place it should all be shifting correctly.------I can not recall or count on my fingers and toes how many of these I have done.-----Big question is ---Did it shift correctly before you changed the impeller ???

    Battery powered grinders are used to cut through fences.------Cut locks and bolts.-----All done during noisy / windy / stormy weather.

    So was there a lot of water in this gearcase ??----Did you inspect all the gears / bearings / shafts ?-----These gearcases are not as robust as earlier models.

    On the intake manifold page cables locate on item #61.----- And bracket #62 might be what you need.------I would make that bracket #62 as they are proud of it.

    They show / list a 2003 model used Evinrude on this website.------Picture is of a new motor ready to come out of the factory shipping box.---Not sure if other pictures / listings are factual either---If that is not a red flag then what is ??----
