    you may want to check. SeaRay burried a chunk of aluminum in the fiberglass on many boats just like other builders. for example, there is a 3/16" plate of aluminum in the gunwales on both sides of my boat for cleats and hardware.

    pull the starter and have it tested Pull the drive and see if it turns over easier. if it does, you have a drive issue to look into check your tank vent. or the next time it dies, pull the fuel cap. if you hear hissing, your tank vent is clogged.

    weigh the boat, compare the specs. could be water logged foam, could just be the fact the boat is light, and without people, up front, that is how it normally sits due to the weight of the engine and drive.

    You may find repop decals on ebay, however you will never find factory replacements as OMC has been out of business for over 25 years. The paint is close enough to Evinrude silver. However your paint has faded over the past 40 years. So any silver will work BTW, your stringer is a left over...

    Your outboard would go into melt down. Just like small engines. You would have to build a custom fuel system. You have to burn 1.8x the E85 as you do E0 to get the same power. Not worth it
