    talking to Scotty over at innovation marine. the coated bearings saved most of their high $ race motors when something goes awry (dry sump line breaks, etc) that is why I went coated. double roller because I needed to buy a new chain and it was same price as the GM leaf chain.

    basically anything on the boat that is polarity sensitive will be "fried" potentially a few wires as well. look over the whole boat. you may be lucky with just the alternator diode pack, or if your boat has diodes in the wiring harness, those too.

    the double roller timing chain set I picked up fit under the factory cover, if you are interested, let me dig for that info. I upgraded to coated bearings both Melling and Mahle offer a higher psi spring for a pressure relieve on pumps.

    we watched a guy (Illinois plates) back a 26'-28' express cruiser into the lake on a trailer. all the while we were saying, the lake is too shallow (clark lake in Door county). average depth is 5 feet, depth at ramp is about 3 and largest boat not a pontoon on the lake is 21 feet so the guy...

    you need a big C-clip pliers for the two C-clips. I used a 18" Blue-Point with a ratchet lock sterndrive.info has good videos on the OMG stringer and they have a good assortment of parts along with a rebuild service.

    Add the HX before the motor hits the water (any water). the debris that the leg picks up, sits in the bottom of the block until you put an HX on it. then it plugs up the HX on the side you cant clean
