    Owner needs to know whether he has the electric shift or the oil pressure assisted 800 model.----The electric shift does not have through the hub exhaust.-----The 800 does use that feature.

    Short shaft motors fit a 15" high transom.----Long shaft motors fit a 20" transom.----What does your transom measure ?

    What material is the tank ?----Boat used in salt water?----You would have to pull the tank out to replace it.-------Should be easy to clean / flush it then.-----Re-install if it tests good.

    ???----A hole in the water jacket ?-----Did you check fuel pump diaphragm.-----If ruptured it would allow fuel to go directly into one cylinder.-----If ruptured , a new diaphragm is the easy / cheap fix.------And that motor running in perfect condition will sludge up a barrel of water.

    Be far easier to convert engine to short shaft.-----Remove 5" spacer.-----Replace pump impeller.-----Slide in a shorter driveshaft..---Cut 5" off water tube.----Find short shift connecter.------AOMCI-----Is one place to post ad for the parts.

    Those are ignition " points " and also called " breaker points " as well.------Usually they can be cleaned to make them work again.

    First thing you would do is calibrate your micrometer.

    The top cylinder is always #1.-----There is just no way that these journals can measure to be over 1.3762"
