    Agree, and will add, adjust the flats on the on the right side where they are straight up and down. The cylinder should not be able to rotate once adjusted. Should have to loosen the cable jacket nut to rotate

    OK, couldn't quite figure what you were asking either. Those are cable adapters, they change the bayonet to ring type terminals. The older sender wires use to be attached by terminal boards or screws and nuts.
