    I would use a piston stop tool to verify you are indeed on TDC however it looks like you may need a new harmonic damper (or your piston is not at TDC) normally to replace that, there is not enough room in front to get a damper puller tool in there. the motor may need to come out.

    make sure you check the hull for moisture. the balsa cored hulls have a tendency to soak up water like a sponge. especially around the get unit.

    Did you replace the impeller in the drive? If you did, did you find all the impeller pieces? Did you clean the tube side of the HX? What brand of headgasket? Did you check the head for straightness and flatness? Did you pressure test the cooling system before filling?
