    Maybe I missed it.----What are the compression numbers.----If idle won't come down you need to adjust trunnion on cable.----Or the cable is broken.

    What trouble shooting has been done if any.-----Was the fuel pump tested BEFORE it was replaced ?---Pressure regulator.----Lift pump ? ---Oil pressure ----Etc , etc.----Some times a trip to a SUZUKI dealer might save you some beer tokens.

    Trouble shooting always starts with a compression test.-----And does the tell tale hose come off the side of the block or the top ?

    Your local hardware store may have brass pipe fittings that will work.---Depends on how much room between carburetors I guess.-----Be an easy fix on my work bench.

    Look for------haulover inlet----Videos of various boat performing in big waves.------Bowriders fill up faster than bilge pump can pump water out.-----That boat is meant for small lakes and small rivers.

    Every outboard I have worked on has had a warp in the cylinder head !!!----Some more than others.----That is the nature of an aluminum casting over time and heating / cooling cycles.---So there.

    Just one cylinder head.----Easy to refinish yourself if you have a flat surface.----Like a piece of hefty glass and valve grinding compound.-----A bit of elbow grease but good results with minimum material removed.
