    I believe I’m stuck with a v6 . My boat has the space for a v8 but, my motor mounts sit on a hump moving them forward I think would require some extensive work, I’m also disassembling the engine to find a crack in the block as full as it was on water I’m sure it busted somewhere

    Mines gen 1 but also has 1.47 gears which is for a v8 I have a few sets of gears just not the ones perfect for this setup, is gen 2 any different at the housing ? I know the rams are shorter.? If I had a v8 my gears would work is what I was getting at…

    oil was empty but had signs of water being in it, not milky either , not sure if I was drained an set over winter an got rained on, not sure. I pulled all the plugs out the block an risers water in them but didn’t look bad, I added 4 qts of oil all I had here. Still nothing on dipstick. No leaks...
