    Spark jumps a good gap. 3/8” yes. Both cylinders I’ve not disconnected 1 plug like that before. No signs of oil/fuel I’ve owned motor 6 months I’d say Carb opens fully. I can check prop in daylight

    Yes! This was my original thought. Only rated for 35 though. I’ve got a potential trade line up for Wednesday now: if it goes through and I’m still not getting on plane I’ll do the 40.

    cleaned up the tank. Flushed it out with several gallons of soapy water. I couldn’t believe how much came out of it. Should be good to go now: I’ll report back on if fuel stays blue or not

    6 gallon fuel tank, no bait tank, ive got 3 of those foldable seats. 2 on pedestals and one on a homemade bench seat. One or two aluminum bench seats have been eliminated.

    Compression is good 120/120. Motor is a 1996 25 HP Johnson.

    Why is my gas orange?

    I dumped about 2 gallons of vinegar into the tank. I am going to throw some roofing nails in it evening. Tank didn't have hardly have any sediment in it when I rinsed it out with soap and water and high pressure hose. Will attempt to post video later on.

    That was my first thought too, and probably correct. I found it interesting the outboard runs just fine and turns orange inline filter but seems to be blue in the tank. I wondered if it was some sort of other weird process I'm not familiar with.
