    Hour Meter install?

    I was wondering if any of you guys ever installed an hour meter on your boat that didnt have one? My aquasport didnt come with one and I wanted to keep track of my hours on it. Can I use the wire that goes to the RPM gauge? Or do I need to run a seperate wire else where? Thanks
