    Re: 1992 40hp tracker racing (4000 rpm) in neutral That's a condition called thermal runaway, and is usually caused by revving it up too high in neutral or on the flushing adapter. Never go more than a fast idle on muffs for this reason.

    1970 Johnson 6HP Fuel Pump

    I have a 1970 6HP Johnson, 6R-70B. I'd like to know if there is a Sierra (or Mallory) fuel pump available for it. The OEM fuel pump is 0382875, superseded by 0388685. The OEM pump runs $87.95 :( Haven't been able to cross reference it. Thanks in advance.
