    I have been shopping for a 36" tall bimini top for my 19' Sea Ray BR. I found a local company that sells biminis for cheap ($139), but the lowest they make is 46". I will likely buy the 46", but can it be cut down if it turns out to be too high?

    Gasket Adhesive on Intake Manifold Gasket

    I am installing a new intake manifold gasket on my 1986 Merc 170. Is it ok to use a little gasket adhesive in spots to keep it in place while I am getting everything together? The guy at the shop says I don't need to, but it seems like it will make the job a little easier.

    Grinding Anode for Prop Clearance

    I just bought a new Solas prop for my 1986 19' Sea Ray with merc 470 and alpha one drive. I was told I need to grind the anode in order for the prop to have sufficient clearance. How much clearance do I need?. With a little grinding, I have 1/2" right now.
