Need trailer roller arm mount thing

All three of my LoadRite galvanized steel trailers (1988, 1992 and 1997) had aluminum roller racks.

    I HATE AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMPS!

Reminds me of the time I was on the West Coast with a hurricane coming up the Coast. In preparation, Mrs. Dingbat moved the boat from it's usual location out to the front field to get it away from the trees. Went out to bring the boat back to the house when I got home later that week. As I got...

2000 Cruisers 2870 Check Engine light blinking but no codes?

Just because the level appears to be correct, doesn’t mean the circuit is functioning properly. Floats get hung up, rodents chew on wires Never guess …always test

    I HATE AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMPS!

You might get 20 minutes till it’s on the bottom. Never understood why someone would buy a convertible with the intent of storing it out in the drive with the top down. The inevitable always happens sooner than later

    I HATE AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMPS!

Same as I do today.....bought a boat with a self-bailing cockpit, keep up on the maintenance and carry a good insurance policy just in case. One would think that "time is of the essence" when your boat is sinking....lol

    Electrical not reaching panel

The remote start simply bypasses the ignition switch to trigger the start relay. The click tells us you don’t have enough current at the starter Once you confirmed the batteries are fully charged at 12.7V, you need to check both battery cables and the solenoid with an ohm meter to confirm they...

    I HATE AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMPS!

And hope you are in range of WiFi or cell service….lol Mrs. Dingbat’s new car has a WiFi interface for control and status notifications. Neat feature..ie toy, but takes anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 minutes to send and receive messages, if at all unless the vehicle is connected to WiFi sitting...

Old school Luhr Jensen trolling speed indicator.

I fish tidal water and have both gps and paddle wheel speed. Paddle wheel comes in handy when bottom fishing to determine tidal flow, but find little use while trolling. Unless you’re trolling speed sensitive lures, which I rarely do, gps is all you need. Experience tells me to reduce...

2000 Cruisers 2870 Check Engine light blinking but no codes?

In some older GM-based diagnostics, Code 12 can refer to a distributor signal interrupt, but on modern MerCruiser MPI systems with smart alarms, it is almost always related to the drive lube monitor

    I HATE AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMPS!

Have bilge pumps in bow and transom compartments. Both pumps on traditional (Rule) float switches controlled via a three way switch (on/off/auto) with an “active” light to let me know when either pump is active. I was religious about turning the switch off with the boat out of the water the...

No dipstick on 1989 era 3.0L?

The F150 has transmission temp and oil pressure gauges Found the Engineering Test Mode displays troubleshooting a battery issue. Didn’t know the truck had a BMS system. Certainly didn’t know I had access to most the CAN (sensor) data and DTCs The Mazda gives me both oil pressure and temp along...

No dipstick on 1989 era 3.0L?

Not if it’s done right. Been building equipment for an environment that makes the marine environment look like a clean room for longer than I can remember. Electrical component failures are few and far between. Most failures we are called into truobleshoot are customer induced. Bad power...

    R.I.P Chuck Norris

My dad always said you die when you stop moving. He made a point to get up and leave the house every morning. Either to met with his friends at the coffee shop or go to the YMCA to ride the exercise bike. He died “suddenly” (stroke) while watching TV with my younger brother. He was 86 years old.

Is this 2k worth of trailer?

Standard warranty terms for the industry. Don't know your market. Paid $5K for a loaded, 23 ft., #6K, aluminum tandem in 2024

    Gloves

If we're jigging, I like wool, half finger gloves. If we're trolling, I like my "convertible" mittens. Quick access to my fingers if needed, yet keeps my hands warm for the duration.
