    Remember in a junkyard you just cut hoses, wires, etc. No worries about damaging a radiator if it’s even still in donor vehicle. Take hood off if it’s still there. Cordless impact gun & a length of old rug or cardboard would be helpful.

    Not really. Fuel tank vent issues usually run okay at first but and then get worse. Could check to be certain.

    I suspect fuel issue. When I had a 3.0L, one time I had to reverse back to the dock to buy a new fuel filter. Changed clogged filter and went back out without issue. Less load on prop in reverse I suppose.

    Ah. I saw you tested and changed the reg but didn’t know you changed actual pump and tested afterwards. I’m assuming the after numbers were good. You’re definitely throwing a few bucks at this.

    What did you use for a pump during your test? If was me, I’d get $24 Harbor Freight fuel pressure gauge, attach to fuel rail and go for ride. Even better if you have a buddy to keep an eye on it.

    Did you change all fuel filters? Not sure if you have cool fuel module in addition to water separator. Cool Fuel takes 2 filters.

    I have no experience with this combo but it appears that turning the bolt clockwise moves the tensioner in a counterclockwise arc. It says to move tensioner CCW not the bolt.

    My old mechanic would just fill the filter housing with the mix when he changed the filters. I did same this year. Ran it about a minute at about 1300 rpm. I could tell it was running on the magic juice because it wasn’t idling well.
