    Ok i have been looking at the keeping of my vro system or not. Here is what i have found all over. That the vro rarely fails and it is actually the jets being plugged causing the cylinder to not get proper oil which causes the problem. i could be cloudy on this do to not being a marine mechanic...

    120 h.p Johnson vro

    Ok iam new to the whole boat deal. I have looked at a boat with a 120 hp johnson vro. Was told it is a 1981. Leads to my first question i can only find info that says the vro came out in 1984. Regardless of when it came out tell me your opinion of these motors. Still has vro hooked up.
