    Merc 4.3LX Alpha1- Cooling water exit?

    Here is a dumb question. I have run outboards for years and now I have a 1997 Mercuiser. I started it in the driveway with muffs on and there was very little water coming from the propeller hub. Most of the water was coming out the lower gimbal area. I this normal for a sterndrive?
