    can trim senders be disassembled, or are they embedded in potting compound?

    And why try taking the measurements with cumbersome clips and activities at the transom...my disconnect is in the engine compartment, tied to part of a main wiring harness...so why not disconnec there? And for that matter, why not just disconnect the two leads at the meter to set the 11 ohms...

    Can Faria trim gauges be adjusted? Mine is off by quite a bit.

    My trim gauge works, but full down shows maybe 3/4 down, and full up goes off the scale beyond the yellow zone. I used to work with gauges; is it as simple as removing the face and replacing the needle?? Thanks!
