    From what I’ve seen, the best way to adjust the Idle mixture is to hook up a vacuum gauge and find the highest stable reading - looks easy enough .. only .. where do I connect the gauge on my 5.7l Mercarb engine???? TiA

    indeed carb, but flow sensor is nmea2000 placed near tank.. however I just learned from another forum that my mechanical fuel pump is hard to get a stable flowreading from at lower rpms.. and that a “ Pulsation damper” might cure that…

    seems as adjusting the idle screw did improve the performance, went out on the water today and had no issues with dying engine while shifting, made docking a bit more relaxed..
