    7.4 Exhaust Manifolds help please

Hi all. Having to squeeze a pair of 454s into an engine bay. The manifolds on them were PCM cast irons and they were totally shot when removed. They since do not make those manifolds anymore. I am looking for 2 sets of narrow manifolds that fit BBCs. Does anyone know of a company that makes...

    454 Piston problem

I inserted a ring and leveled it with the piston head and took 3 readings. Top, mid, lower. All were identical. I could get a .020 feeler gauge in but met with decent resistance.

    Exhaust Manifold question

Thank you for that input. The boat sunk but was only down 2 days. It sunk because the person that tied up the boat in the harbor tied it to a beam instead of the floating dock. Tide went down and the boat stayed down

    Exhaust Manifold question

I do agree about the weight probably will not change performance. I just know that getting those cast iron manifolds off were a nightmare and extremely heavy. What was in there were some PCM manifolds. Held in by bolts and the heads of those bolts were rounded off. It was a fun time getting...

    Exhaust Manifold question

Hi all, I sincerely hope I am in the correct place. If not, I apologize. So, I have a Classic Donzi with twin screws. The 454s fit very close to each other on the inner mounting. The exhaust manifolds are basically garbage and I want to replace. Because they re so close, I will most likely...

Chris Craft Restoration - Drooping fiberglass deck

My thought was to pull the deck and flip it over and try to reverse the sag. Then reinforce. Just know know if it will work like I am hoping it would. I don't think an inch or more of putty, bondo, filler, whatever is good for my dilemma. Over time it will crack in my opinion.

Engine install and align. what am I doing so wrong??

Good Afternoon all. I will try to keep this short and sweet. My alignment tool hits just below the coupler no matter what I do. I absolutely cannot get it to fit in.
