What is this pinched tube and broken tee?

2004 Suzuki DF140. I removed the stb side lower cover and found a broken tee and a small tube pinched completely flat. One branch goes into the bundle with the controls and wiring headed forward. The other branch goes to a crankcase fitting. It seems like the breather circuit. Can anyone speak...

115 Yamaha Tachometer - Other functions?

owner of a 2016 Yamaha 4-stroke on a Bennington pontoon. Tach does not work. I will be checking connectors and found a wiring diagram here for signal and power. The seller said he would replace if the gauge is bad. Can anyone tell me if the tach has other diagnostics or features I would want to...

    Stern Light Socket

Thanks again, you’re right. No wires to be found. I thought they may be in that tube but when I took it apart, I saw a hole drilled through the bottom of the top rail. If I would have looked, I would have seen that without removing the station base. That station base is machined (little u shaped...

    Stern Light Socket

Thank you. Wouldn’t all boats be wired to that spot for the stern light? I haven’t taken it apart yet but I assumed I would find wires when I got in there. I also assumed the wires were in that tube but wondered how they got there and hoped I didn’t have to do that fishing job. Doesn’t look easy.

    Stern Light Socket

Greetings. New owner of a 2016 SX24. It was a rental and the owner said he didn’t want it used at night. There is no connection block or whatever was there for the wiring in the bimini top mount. Can anyone tell me where I might find that part? A Bennington part or general marine/top part? Thanks, C

1992 Mercruiser I/O handle trim switch bad...

I give up after searching! Where can I buy an original type, handle mounted trim switch for my 1992 Century I/O? It's an Alpha One Gen II rig with the control handle mounted little rocker switch, not the two button type. I can't even find a reference to it... Thanks, C.

'06 DF140 trims up but NOT down...

19' Larson Sinking victim. Our boat sank last Fall, twice. Don't ask. Oil changed and ran great. Went for a few rides late season after the sinking to get it hot. Stored hanging in a boat house sub-zero at times over Winter. Put back in mid May and fired it up. No down trim. Goes up but not...

    '54 Viking prop/rudder clearance...

My friends "new" Viking handles terribly at slow speed. I just met the boat (on a trailer) and a first glance, I thought the prop was too far from the rudder. It's about 6" or more.. Anyone know how close they should be and would it help low speed handling? I'm thinking the previous owner...

    DF140 surging fixed... I think...

Our '04 DF140 started surging after being run completely out of gas. Replaced the firewall water seperater/filter and did not help. Got a set of plugs and took the cowl off to see the small filter between the pump ball and fuel pump (I guess it's the pump: round Mikuni thing bolted to aft...

    FD identification question...

My new-to-me 14' FD has two plates on the transom; one is the OBC with a 25hp rating and the other side (port) is the Alumacraft plate where the FD is barely visible. Is there a serial number on this boat? I'll try to get pics this weekend but I would have thought there would be a number on...

    Single lever control adjustment question..

I just set up a 14 foot Alumacraft with a '70 20 hp Evinrude. The adjustment on the throttle cable at the engine end is maxed out. It won't idle and needs just a bit more pressure to take up some of the slop in the old connections. Question - Can I put the adjuster back in the middle and go...

Need FD steering wheel & 1st test....

Hi all.. New here. I just put a boat together for a gang of kids on Lake George (NY). I've been eyeballing this boat for several years and without the support of my wife and kids, I went to the outside; my friend has 5 boys (age 8-16). !4 foot FD, year unknown. Front deck, cross deck moved...
