    Question about top dead center. Look at pics in reference to TDC. Piston is just at TDC but points and cam lobe are not lined up? Is this right? Wrong? Thx

    1976 Evinrude 15 hp. Help.won’t run on boat.

    Bought this motor from a guy in December. Took it to lake in March wouldn’t run WOT. Rebuilt carb, checked float, runs great in barrel. Took it out today won’t take off in gear? Just dies out. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I’m about to throw it in lake or take it to someone else. Thx

    1957 FD-11 will start with starting fluid?

    Hey guys been working on this fd-11. Got it to start yesterday just for a second using starting fluid. Tank is holding pressure, just checked all fuel lines at tank and motor. I already rebuilt carb. Anything I could have missed? Thx

    Fd-11 driveshaft came out of lower unit?

    Hey guys, while doing the impeller, the driveshaft came out of the lower unit propeller. It is a spline shaft. Should that just slide back in place and be ok? Thx

    FD-11 impeller replacement.

    Ok I read the manual or the book. It says to put a thin bead of sealer #1000 on the lower unit surface then the water pump plate. What other type of sealer can be used? I’ve never used a sealer when replacing impeller. Thx

    1976 Evinrude 15hp

    Hey guys, just rebuilt the carb on this motor. The reason I rebuilt this carb is because it was spitting and sputtering on the water and hard to start after it died. Had this thing running great in a barrel. Got it to the lake and it’s doing same thing? Any ideas? I’m stumped? Thx

    Hello I purchased the OEM carb kit. I’m assuming this is for multiple carbs. Please look at pics, I don’t want to leave anything out. I took out what I know that goes in my carb. I know it takes 4 packing bushings. The other items I’m not sure about.

    Dual line connector. Rebuild?

    Working on an FD-11 and found a dual line pressure tank locally. The connector that goes from tank to motor seems to be stuck internally. I know you can rebuild these. Does anyone have a link on a “ how to rebuild” thx.
