    Bought a boat yesterday

Further away from the Water Line, maybe. The Hose connected to it would still have to arc up higher so as to reduce any Bow Splash getting into the Tank

Water test on 115 HO etec

The computer is not going to adjust things for a different Pitch. It is simply feeding Fuel and adjusting the Spark, based on a expected Rpm Range under Load. That Load is provided by choosing a Prop that allows the engine to run WOT within that expected Rpm Range

Got a new toy to test out eventually...

Rooster Tail is likely due to Engine Height, or Trim. There is a big Difference between the two Props on how the Boat Rides in the Water. The Enertia can lift the entire Hull Vertically, not just the Bow . I have only been in One Boat that didn't perform well with the Enertia, and that was a...

    Wont Start. Johnson 1979 25hp

If the Battery is NFG, being "just off the Charger" means Nothing. However, corroded Connections/Cables/Solenoid can prevent Current getting to the Starter Motor. Some basic Electrical Troubleshooting is Due. We had the Rope Start version of that engine. Always started in less than 3 pulls...

40hp Johnson blows 20a fuse when key is turned

Welcome to iboats Odd that a Ignition Kill Circuit would have Voltage on it. Most I have seen work as Grounds to kill the Ignition. Of Course, I am not thinking of an ECM controlled Engine, which this motor might have that... I would be checking the Key Switch and Wires attached to it Since you...
