    Converting Triple To Conventional Points/coil Ignition

    Has anyone got the definitive answer as to how to sucessfully convert a 55hp 1968 triple to run with a coil,condenser and ballast resistor setup? I've viewed many threads on this site and still don't have the full scoup! Please Help ME!!!

    Runs Great Sometimes

    '68-55-evinrude-55873R-has issues. Starts instantly when cold with choke. Will run perferctly for 10-15 minutes ie slow med fast back to idle changing gears etc. After 15-20 minutes of running if slowed down to idle it will stall and then wont start for at least 5-10 minutes choke or no choke...

    Need Advice on Purchasing Older Outboard
