Bravo 3 loss of lube oil - slowly then rapidly x2

Nothing in the pics posted looks concerning to me I will say keep an eye on the spacer/shim seen in the first pic. You wanna make sure that's clean and intact prior to reinstalling the u joint/bearing/gear assy

Mercury 6.2 ECT DTS Axius Voltage Issue

When referring to clean power it is important to understand the clean power connections and harness have nothing to do with mpr, other relays or circuit breakers The clean power connections and harness are simply solid, unmolested, fused (+) and (-) connections for the pcm. This guarantees the...

    Bogging in relation to distributor

Fully aware of aftermarket parts suppliers in regards to marine applications My comment wasn't indicative of NAPA's development of special parts in regard to oem manufacturer's creation of specific components regarding long term issues. The companies that created and have specific use...

    Trim Control Rubber Boot?

If the source of the issue is indeed the remote handle trim control switch you'd be better served installing a divorced trim control switch This of course requires cutting/splicing wires and new switch

    Bogging in relation to distributor

Kind of like the boat guy showing up every spring trying to warranty his cap/rotor? If the counter person is sympathetic you'll get a new set free. 20 sets in ten years NAPA will stop giving you things The spark isn't getting to the wire end efficiently, the result of excess resistance from...

Questions regarding Water Temp Sensor / Engine Temperature - 350 Magnum 1995

Taking the sea water pump off, disassembling, inspecting and re-installing the old impeller is madness The temperature numbers you've posted are in accordance with spec, or at least not exceeding normal observation however, I'd be curious to know the temp reading at the sender itself with an ir...

Bravo 3 loss of lube oil - slowly then rapidly x2

Heat around the housing/snout prior to removal has worked for me Prior to applying heat re-seat the u joint/bearing/gear assy into the housing. It's real easy to offset the gear pack and have it bind during removal
