    Bilge pump wiring mystery

Well as it turns out the auto is not working. It is the pump not the wiring. I never did hear it kick on for a sec like my front rule does. Had enough water in rear of boat today but never kicked on. Had to run in manual.

    Bilge pump wiring mystery

I just replaced the Rule 1500 on my Sportctraft which was identical to the one that was in there when I bought it. I never had a need before to mess with the automatic part but now I need to because I keep the boat in a well. Let me start with the switch at the helm it only has an on and off...

    Merc 4.0 throttle tensioner

I have an older merc 4.0 that had a wheel under the throttle arm to tighten up on the throttle so it would not move. The plastic sleeve is broke. Does anyone have an idea where I could get another one? I have included a photo of it. Thanks, Brian in MI

    Livewell pump issue

C Well thanks for all the replies! I decided to mess with the front pump first as it was not coming on either. I took it out and hooked it up to 12 volts and it ran! Speedometer tube

I just got this boat from a guy who did use it much and did not know a while lot about boats. He said the speedmeter never worked and now I know why. The tube is hanging there not connected. It is too short to reach the pickup on the outdrive. Can I somehow splice another piece of tube to reach...

Best wrench to remove 5.0 water separator filter

I sure don't know why they had to locate so low when the oil filter is so easy to get too. My old oil filter wrench is slipping and rather that mess the old one up and leak fuel in the bilge I need a new wrench. What is a good one for tight spots like this? Thanks, Brian in Mi
