    Like it goes up so high I can't see nothing but boat if a good wind came up I'm sure it would flip. Lol. Works awesome when 2 ppl are in it , very fast.

    Pin forward tank is up as far as it will go but it just slides back when the boat goes up. The motor is massive for a 25hp. It's a 2000 25hp 3cylinder long shaft. Very heavy and so am I lol.

    I had them on both my motors I turned them all the way out all the way in. They never made any difference to my motors. That's why I never replaced them to probably just get busted off again. Maybe they did something for you. I'm just saying I never found that they did anything for me.

    Well I ordered one expendable 18-24inch. I guess I will see how it works. Once I get it up I will be able to get back in the seat. I just need it to get it up out of the water instead of almost flipping the boat lol.

    I seen them on there but are they just for steering? The problem is when I'm by myself the boat just goes straight up and won't plane out. So if I can get far enough forward it will plane out.

    I have a 2000 Johnson 25hp 3cylinder now and I broke the one on it to motor trolls down 2 slow if I want. They both caught the bench seat when I was putting the motor down . They flew about 10ft in the air and sunk to the bottom lol.

    I use 2 have a mid 90,s same motor. I broke that off 2. I never found that it did anything when it was on there. It never changed the trolling speed for me. I never replaced it motor worked fine

    Oil on choke?

    I didn't have a battery until the other day. I was just pull starting. Always started between 1 and 3 pulls. I was able to get a 250dlr Napa battery that was only a year old for 40dlrs so that's why I installed a battery.

    No it's like on the metal rod when you pull the choke out. I thought it looked oily before I pulled it out and when I did I noticed like a golden looking oil on it.

    I installed a battery today and I wanted to make sure it was working. I pulled the choke 2 start it and it looks like oil on the choke. Is this a problem?

    3 blade or 4 blade prop?

    I have a 2000 25hp 3cylinder Johnson long shaft. It has a 4 blade on it. Is that the right one or should it be 3 blade? What's the difference?
