    Have to disagree, that bushing is what seals the water tube not the one that goes inside the hose over the tube. The hose one uses is straight no taper and that item is the trim cyl bushing

    You dont really need it, it tends to wear out the inner casing of the control cable. A good working control box and cables plus a good lower cable and no corrosion in the shift slide is all you need

    What you MUST DO FIRST is remove the block drain quick connects and make sure the block does drain, rust and sediment clog the drains and results in a cracked block
