Boat construction question for tank removal

Ok I had the same problem, seems covers like that hatch type fail all the time. I put in a new deck without a hatch access. Just didn't want to do this again. Take accurate measurements for future use if occasion needs to access whole tank.

You don't need all that {etching primer} if you are just roughing up the surface to prep paint. That's for when you get to bare metal is all.

Ya know that is a great idea. I probably wouldn't waste my time or money unless I was doing ac. Da whole ding is a heat/cool loss. I don't believe you will have any real gains.

I think for the rest I will order some foam for a backer and add that to the backer board first. Regarding adhering the panels to the walls my options are the tape above, velcro or these sink mounts with a cap screw. Place on walls with a dab of pb, install panel and cap nut or a pc. of trim...

Your going to have to remove all loose glass. Sorta like "scoop" it out. Put a pc of laminate, plastic, wood strip on the back inside to follow contour. Start to do glass work and build up to size. Sand, paint etcccc. You should put a pc. of plastic like a trash bag on the face of the template...
