    Does the boat have an engine hour meter? If so it may not be wired thru the ignition switch. Is this a new problem?

    Are you able to drain that junk out of the tank? What motor is this? Do you use a 10 micron fuel/water filter? Check/clean or replace all fuel filters.

    Are you able to take someone from the dealer out in your boat to duplicate the problem? You should not have to do anything other than let the shop fix it, don't let them make it your problem it's their problem.

    Track down the buzzing sound you're hearing, could be a bad/loose connection arcing. Measure the voltage at the starter while cranking, I'm guessing you will find low voltage.

    All good information above, flush motor. Don't forget about the trailer and brakes, rinse, rinse then rinse some more especially if the trailer is painted.
