    White oak 1-1/16" for the inner board, marine grade plywood for the outside. You might as well drill out the rivets even on the handles. Best way to do it is to do it right, going to have to learn how to buck rivets. Great boat BTW you can lay that boat right on it's side and it will not flip...

    Without fail when my son comes up with his friends and they are out sking or tubing they will run out of gas as least once, that is why I put the trolling motor in the rod locker.

    I live on a lake my boat tool box is an electric trolling motor. I can get back to the dock or to the boat landing for repairs or to pull the boat out of the water.

    If you have ever tried to heat up the cockpit to defrost the eisenglass on a cool fall morning you would understand the canvas even zippered shut is not airtight by any means.

    I spend days every winter in an enclosed space with a Mr Heater running, no issues at all, quite comfortable actually.

    Restoration frustration before it starts

    I only want to do 1 boat at a time. I may have to do it cold and that is less than ideal, but yes rental spaces do not want you working in those spaces I need to over head lift the rail off the pontoon.

    Owning a fishing boat with a cutty is like owing a fish/ski boat it does neither well. just my humble opinion. I fish with a charter guy who uses his cutty for storage, then again a serious fishing boat.

    Hole shot, or up easy?

    My poor motor gets run hard every weekend by the kids skiing and tubing. That is why I run old boats that I paid cash for don't sweat the dock rash or dings. Don't get me wrong I vet every group I know every group for the most part inexperienced are not allowed to operate to pull a skier or a tube.

    2003 115HP Mercury 2 stroke engine - cylinder cuts out when cold at full throttle

    I have a 90 115hp mariner not the best motor for a ski boat but the motor just keeps on running. Luckily the motor is usually run warmed up. Kids come up and run that thing at full throttle all day sking and tubing. Thirsty motor.
