    This got me to thinking which is sometimes dangerous. Back in the 70’s my best friend once said I want work to live not live to work. All these years I thought he was a genius for coming up with this but often wonder did he or did he just hear it elsewhere. Anyone know the origin of this phrase?

    What’s great song. It always brings back great memories. Back in the day when I was boxing I would try to follow the drum roll with a series of punches. I never nailed it but I close a few times. I’d probably have a heart attack if I try to pull that off now days.

    If it’s working as it should now you may never know the cause. I once had this happen and just as I got to the motor I saw a plastic shopping bag peeling away from the lower. A few more seconds and I may not have seen it. It must have been covering the intake perfectly. The only way to know it...

    I watched an eagle trying to take over an osprey nest the other day. It’s amazing how fierce birds can be when it comes to territory. I’m not sure who won I’ll have to take another look soon and see who the winner is. There used to be quite a few eagles here but then they disappear but 4 or five...

    I found a baby owl in the road one time during a storm. It was beat up pretty bad. I took it to the local rehab guy in the morning and he nursed it back to health. After he released it it hung around the house for 3 years before finally moving on.
