    Looks like a MEFI connector Can get a 12V resistor diode or use a voltmeter with tone function and count flashes or tones. Jump A and B, turn key ON (do not start) and watch

    That's not how a isolator works. An isolator is just high current diodes. Each standard diode has a 0.7V voltage drop across it. It does not distinguish between a good or bad battery, nor one that is full charged over half charged. The ACR does do such things and has no voltage drop

    I don't see a issue with your setup and understand your thoughts. Same thing goes along with never work on any hydraulics without blocking it. Hydraulics can and do fail without warning, many have died thinking otherwise

    12V side Unless your outboard is a newer modern ones, the motor will not be able to produce much current to charge both Bats. The isolator is a bad choice because it charges both Bats at same time, if you really want to go this route use a ACR auto charge relay Never heard of a 12V to dual 12V...

    Check the ground connection on the pump One side comes from the FP relay which has 12V, the other goes to ground Pic is V8 but same as yours
