    The Red wire and the one with the plastic block get connected to the main battery post on the starter. The block is a fuse link protecting the wiring, Red is main system power, yellow/ W red stripe is for the solenoid

    AF overflow could be from a leaking haed gasket, was motor ever overheated? Points ign systems require a ballast resistor or resistance wire On the+ side of a coil you have 2 wires. One is the ign "on" wire and the other is from the solenoid to supply battery voltage ONLY during cranking .

    We all know it looked good in design but sucked in application leading to cracked block or manifolds. Unless you collect and measure the water leaving the drain and make sure it adds up to atleast 4 gallons something did not drain. The most likely culprit is the block drains being plugged up...

    Might be Bravoitis, backflowing thru a Bravo you should have no resistance pushing water out the drives inlet holes

    If you have electronic ign system, it could have blown Do you have 12v at the + side of the coil? Do you have spark?

    that might be true but there is way too much rust in the intake runners , that could be a leaking intake manifold . The valley does not look like it has any rust

    try putting it on the alt pully relax the tensioner and slip it on the alt pully.

    There is no need to remove any pully to replace a belt. If you have the correct size belt it goes on with no issues.
