    Can you paint an outboard cowling with automotive spray paint?

    I know guys that will use the $15 hvlp gun from harbor freight to shoot primer and then toss the gun. I have had one for years that I choose to clean and it just keeps going and does a fairly good job. I wouldn’t use it on a car but for other stuff it’s just fine.

    That’s the number I came up with as well but without a factory manual I’m never 100% sure. There are charts on line. Try looking for J&E shift rod height charts.

    The pump will only work if the water is well above the pump.

    Are you running in a barrel or on muffs? If in a barrel is the water well above the pump level? Pumps are not self priming water needs to be well above the pump.

    I watched a car the other night pull into a parking and it seems they tried every switch in the car to get the lights on before driving off into the dark with only the day time running light on. I rented a truck a few years back and was completely lost trying to figure out where everything was.
