    2003 Chapparal

Don't know your boat, but the actual horn is normally under the rub rail, near bow on starboard side. There will just be a grid of some sort covering it. Normally cheap horn and not to loud but meets minimum spec

Tracker Pro Deep v17 Fuel Tank Screen

Welcome Have never seen instructions for any boat of how to remove the gas tank. I've done it but in most all cases it all comes down to cutting the deck to gain access. With vent clear and bulb collapsing, I would remove the pickup tube and see if it's clear

Thinking about an upgrade for the tow vehicle

Depends on your state but it's my understanding so long as the gross is under 26K no one says anything. Even the commercials have a disclaimer listing (for the most part) it can pull above 26K but can be used yada yada

Mercruiser 5.7 EFI Water in Oil

If the elbow is cracked there the water will not enter the motor Don't see an issue with the other gasket area because it seems to just be layers and gasket just separated when removed my opinion

Mercruiser 3.0L Overheated What to Look Out For?

Most gauges are not accurate, in case yours was it may have caused an issue, time will tell You could let it go or dive in further and find out 140 to 120 is not great but not terrible

Mercruiser 5.7 EFI Water in Oil

I don't see an issue with the gaskets. The only possible sign of a leak goes to one of the bolts but that would not let water into the block

350 Mag Bravo 3 with poor power steering assist

The valve moves very little, this is moved by steering cable coming from the helm Loosen nut "C" and then turn flats up/down. Remove wrench to make sure it stays that way. When it stays, in place put wrench back in place to hold slots, then use another wrench to tighten "C"

Mercruiser 5.7 EFI Water in Oil

Don't know which drive but can put some muffs on the drive or put it back in the water. You should have a kill switch, pull it and motor won't start, even better remove connectors going to the coil When manifold is filled with acetone it should stay full. If it leaks out then it has a crack...

Mercruiser 5.7 EFI Water in Oil

Thanks for the SN Being in fresh water the exhaust should last longer then the boat. The easiest thing is do a compression test, might be a head gasket Cooling system test Disconnect hoses from exhaust manifolds and one from thermostat housing coming from the raw water pump. Plug 2 of the 3...

    Mechanical fuel pump gph question

Did the motor ever get higher then 3500? Need more info? Most likely it's not the fuel pump, it's probably a tired motor or to much pitch Edit: being same boat that need a bolt replaced in the transom could also mean the boat is water logged
