    Yep , most early manufacturers had their own spec's and nothing else would fit . Still see the odd thing with whitworth fasteners . An older man I used to work with gave me a (pretty much ) full set of whitworth tools, which whilst not my most used tools they have been handy a fair few times .๐Ÿ™‚

    That bush is twice the length of mine so more supporting area ,if there is less than half a mill Id pack it with grease and grease it up regularly ,you wont know its there ๐Ÿ™‚

    Yeah , ebay. I bought new bushes for mine ,did all the part number checks but when they arrived they were about 5mm dia to small......so they are still in the bag they came in .

    Having that clearance isnt ideal but its probly no worse than any motor with a bit of wear.......but it would bug me ๐Ÿ™‚. My bushes have a cut down the side of them so packing them did work for me . Greasing them wont take up clearance but it will make them feel better for a while . Probly your...

    Cut yourself a slice of soda can the length of the outside circumference and the hight of the bush and and pack it in behind the bush .....if that dont work put 2 in it๐Ÿ™‚

    So , just to be clear ,if your boat circled and ran someone over you could live with that......and no one would sue you . Im being facetious , but I think that a runaway boat is better blasting across a lake than circling where peeps are gathered . End of the day once the boat has got away...
