    With proper maintenance you will be fine. Will need a good quality automatic bilge pump. I'd have 2 auto bilge pumps set for slightly different levels and 2 batteries on separate circuits.

    The only benefit might be that there isn't any ethanol in the premium. I always used regular fuel with ethanol in my 82 merc 50 and it ran well. I ran it dry at the end of the year.

    I installed Nauticus Smart Tabs to solve a listing problem on my Sylvan when I was by myself. They worked great for that as well as being able to plane quicker when I had a heavy load. I did swap them for Bennet Hyrdraulic Tabs that I got a good deal on so I could have more control.

    As roscoe says it's hinged. The hinge is at the top where it says Humminbird. Pull or pry from the bottom.

    Also try rockauto. Even with shipping to canada they are reasonable. Have always had trouble finding AC plugs in canada for a good price so have usually used NGK.
