    oozing fuel-oil is what we are talking about.... just unburnt fuel just wipe it off it will eventually stop if only from self sealing itself as crud accumulates in the joint . did you do search to learn about sludge....

    2 strokes probably flush out 30-50% of the incoming fuel oil mix while in and out ports are open on the piston down stroke... it goes out and down the exhaust and liquifies residues along with carbon.... result ... oily water do seaches on SLUDGE ....

    run some small monofilament line in each orifice to garantee proper cleaning of orifices. do not force metal wire so as not to damage any calibrated orifices ex: side channel leading to the top (look closely)

    see pict... bottom jet in yellow also the low speed fuel flows to the top via a small side channel which must be clean includind the idle chamber under the round dime size plug. don't remove it yet but at least clean all orifices (check for crud including the small side channel...

    tank vent open... does it run if you pump the fuel bulb to keep it alive ?? or is it just by choking/priming it every 10 sec. ?

    look for a grounded wire or short ..should be easy to track down take a ohms reading while wiggling the wires around if it fluctuates you likely have a chaffed wire. if solid then the load is likely shorted to ground internally

    put the thermostat body (no gasket) in a pan and overfill it with water. put in a cooking thermometer and slowly heat the water till the thermostat visually begins to open. temp. should be around 140F it must close when cooling down from the Net.... Put the thermostat in a bowl...

    don't know if you seen this.... it kind of shows how to do it.. no need for the fancy pointer device since the FW serves as the guide . ..but if you do ots of oldies the pointer is real handy :)

    hum... if 3 yellows... should be a 3 phase rectifier ( full phase non regulated) if so... lots of 3 phase rectifiers on Amazon... ...not expensive replacements...

    what is your feeling ..... it bog down at HS because it drowns in to much fuel ? anybody mess with the HS orifice ? (to big or damaged) it bogs down at HS because is lacks fuel ? clogged HS orifice ? inlet not doing it's job (sticky) float clip installed ?? it bogs down at HS...
